MARK ECKHAUS loves cars. In the automobile business every day since 1969, cars are his life. Mark brings to his customers a knowledge and passion for the automobile business seldom seen and never matched. After several years as a successful used car dealer, Mark founded Eckhaus Porsche in Virginia and built it into the largest volume Porsche dealership in the world. This growth was fueled by unmatched customer service and innovative marketing concepts. Eckhaus Porsche was the first Porsche dealer to advertise nationwide. After selling it in 1989, he moved to California. After a short retirement, Mark was asked to join the Standard Rent A Car management team as Fleet Sales Manager. In 4 years the company grew from 1,200 to 5,500 cars and 50 locations. After Enterprise bought Standard, Alamo Rent A Car recruited Mark. At Alamo, Mark was responsible for Fleet Purchasing and Remarketing for two thirds of the country, from Colorado to the Eastern Shore. After leaving Alamo, Mark founded Eckhaus Fleet to provide Fleet Purchasing and Remarketing to the Rental Car Industry. Mark has been and still is a partner in several New Car Dealerships.
